MAWSOOK TERMS OF USE

1. Introduction
Welcome to MAWSOOK ("MAWSOOK", "Platform", "we", "our", or "us").
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MAWSOOK mobile applications, websites, software, content, services, features, and related technologies operated by MAWSOOK.
By creating an account, accessing, browsing, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.
2. About MAWSOOK
MAWSOOK is a verification-first social networking platform designed to promote authentic interactions between real individuals and legitimate businesses.
The Platform allows users to:
- View videos, photos, reels, and live streams.
- Discover creators and businesses.
- Create and manage profiles.
- Access livestreaming features where eligible.
- Communicate with other users.
- Access creator and business tools.
- Receive and send virtual gifts where available.
- Participate in monetization features made available by MAWSOOK.
Certain features are available only to verified users.
3. Account Types
MAWSOOK provides the following account types:
A. Basic Account
A Basic Account is created through registration using approved sign-up methods.
Basic Account holders may browse, search, discover, and view content available on the Platform but may not access verification-restricted features unless successfully verified.
B. Verified Personal Account
A Verified Personal Account is a personal account that has successfully completed MAWSOOK's verification process.
C. Verified Business Account
A Verified Business Account is a business profile that has successfully completed both personal verification and business verification requirements established by MAWSOOK.
4. Eligibility
You may use MAWSOOK only if:
- You provide accurate and truthful information.
- You are legally permitted to use the Platform.
- You comply with these Terms.
- You comply with all verification requirements applicable to your account.
MAWSOOK reserves the right to refuse registration, verification, access, or continued use of the Platform where permitted by applicable law.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities conducted through their account. Users must immediately notify MAWSOOK of any unauthorized access, suspected compromise, or security breach involving their account.
4A. Age Requirements
Users may create and maintain a Basic Account subject to these Terms and applicable law.
However, certain Platform features are restricted to verified users and require successful completion of MAWSOOK's verification process.
To obtain verification and access restricted Platform features, users must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
Restricted features include, but are not limited to:
- Following users.
- Liking content.
- Saving content.
- Sharing content.
- Commenting on content.
- Sending messages.
- Posting content.
- Uploading photos.
- Uploading videos.
- Creating reels.
- Creating stories.
- Livestreaming.
- Accessing creator monetization features.
- Accessing business account features.
- Participating in any feature designated by MAWSOOK as requiring verification.
As part of the verification process, MAWSOOK may require users to provide government-issued identification documents and complete facial recognition and liveness verification procedures.
Users who do not satisfy the minimum age requirement may be denied verification and access to restricted Platform features.
MAWSOOK reserves the right to verify a user's age at any time and may suspend, restrict, revoke, or terminate verification status where age requirements are not met or cannot be confirmed.
5. Verification Requirements
Verification is a core feature of the Platform.
To obtain a verified account, users may be required to provide:
- Government-issued identification documents.
- Facial recognition verification.
- Liveness verification.
- Category selection information.
- Additional information reasonably requested by MAWSOOK.
Business accounts may additionally be required to provide:
- Valid trade license, company registration documents, or any other business documentation reasonably requested by MAWSOOK.
Submission of documents does not guarantee approval.
Verification decisions may involve automated systems, identity verification technologies, fraud detection systems, facial recognition technologies, and human review.
Verification status is granted at MAWSOOK's sole discretion. Submission of documents, successful identity verification, business verification, or prior verification status does not create any entitlement to verification. MAWSOOK may approve, reject, suspend, revoke, or re-evaluate verification at any time.
6. One Person – One Verified Account
Each individual may maintain only one verified personal account.
Each valid trade license may maintain only one verified business account.
Users may not:
- Create duplicate verified accounts.
- Circumvent verification restrictions.
- Use another person's identity.
- Use another company's documents.
- Attempt to obtain multiple verified accounts through false information.
MAWSOOK may reject, suspend, merge, remove, or permanently disable duplicate accounts.
7. Access to Platform Features
Basic Accounts may view publicly available content on the Platform.
The following features require successful verification:
- Following users.
- Liking content.
- Saving content.
- Sharing content.
- Commenting.
- Sending messages.
- Posting content.
- Uploading videos.
- Uploading photos.
- Creating reels.
- Creating stories.
- Livestreaming.
- Creator monetization features.
- Business profile features.
MAWSOOK may modify feature availability at any time.
8. Category Selection
Verified users must select the category that most accurately represents their profession, activity, business, expertise, public identity, or content focus.
MAWSOOK currently supports multiple platform categories and may add, modify, remove, merge, rename, or reorganize categories at any time.
Users may not intentionally select misleading or inaccurate categories.
MAWSOOK reserves the right to modify category assignments where appropriate.
9. Livestreaming
Verified users may access livestreaming features subject to Platform availability and compliance with these Terms.
MAWSOOK does not require a minimum follower count to access livestreaming.
Access to livestreaming remains subject to:
- Successful verification.
- Compliance with Platform policies.
- Account standing.
- Technical availability.
MAWSOOK may restrict or revoke livestreaming privileges at any time.
10. User Content
Users retain ownership of content they create and upload.
By uploading content to MAWSOOK, you grant MAWSOOK a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to:
- Host content.
- Store content.
- Process content.
- Display content.
- Distribute content.
- Promote content.
- Reformat content.
- Improve Platform services.
This license remains in effect for as long as necessary to operate the Platform, enforce these Terms, resolve disputes, maintain archives, comply with legal obligations, and protect MAWSOOK's legitimate business interests.
Users represent and warrant that they own or possess all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and authorizations required to upload, publish, distribute, and make available any content submitted to the Platform.
11. Content Moderation
To maintain a safe environment, MAWSOOK may use:
- Artificial intelligence systems.
- Automated moderation technologies.
- Image recognition systems.
- Video analysis systems.
- Behavioral monitoring systems.
- Human moderation teams.
Content may be:
- Delayed.
- Flagged.
- Rejected.
- Restricted.
- Removed.
- Reviewed.
- Reported to authorities when required by law.
MAWSOOK is not obligated to publish any content submitted to the Platform. MAWSOOK may remove, restrict, disable, demonetize, or refuse publication of any content at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice.
12. Prohibited Content
Users may not upload, publish, transmit, distribute, or promote content that:
- Violates applicable laws.
- Promotes illegal activities.
- Contains child exploitation material.
- Contains sexual exploitation content.
- Contains non-consensual intimate content.
- Promotes terrorism or violent extremism.
- Contains hate speech.
- Promotes harassment or bullying.
- Contains threats.
- Contains fraud or scams.
- Infringes intellectual property rights.
- Contains malware or harmful code.
- Misrepresents identity.
- Violates privacy rights.
MAWSOOK may remove such content immediately.
13. Messaging and Communications
Messaging functionality is available only to eligible verified users.
Users remain solely responsible for communications conducted through the Platform.
MAWSOOK may investigate misuse, fraud, harassment, spam, or unlawful conduct involving messaging features.
14. Creator Earnings and Monetization
MAWSOOK may offer creator monetization features including:
- Virtual gifts.
- Livestream gifts.
- Creator incentives.
- Referral, affiliate, ambassador, creator partnership, or promotional programs.
- Additional monetization tools introduced in the future.
Participation in monetization programs remains subject to eligibility requirements established by MAWSOOK.
MAWSOOK may modify, suspend, discontinue, or replace monetization programs at any time.
MAWSOOK does not guarantee that any user will earn income, receive gifts, generate revenue, build an audience, obtain followers, secure business opportunities, or achieve any financial results through use of the Platform.
15. Creator Payouts
Eligible creators may request withdrawals of approved earnings using payout methods supported by MAWSOOK.
Supported payout methods may include:
- Bank transfers.
- Approved payment partners.
- Other payout methods introduced by MAWSOOK.
MAWSOOK may require additional verification before processing payouts.
Payout processing times may vary.
MAWSOOK may require bank account ownership verification, identity verification, tax documentation, proof of residence, source-of-funds information, or other compliance documentation before approving withdrawals.
16. Platform Fees
MAWSOOK does not charge a platform commission on eligible creator gifts unless otherwise stated within a specific monetization program.
However, creators acknowledge that deductions may occur due to:
- Apple App Store fees.
- Google Play Store fees.
- Payment processor fees.
- Banking fees.
- Currency conversion fees.
- Government fees.
- Taxes.
- Regulatory charges.
- Other third-party charges.
Actual amounts received may therefore differ from gross earnings.
17. Fraud Prevention
MAWSOOK may investigate:
- Fake engagement.
- Artificial activity.
- Self-gifting schemes.
- Payment fraud.
- Identity fraud.
- Chargeback abuse.
- Account manipulation.
- Verification abuse.
During investigations, MAWSOOK may:
- Freeze earnings.
- Delay payouts.
- Suspend monetization.
- Request additional documentation.
- Restrict account access.
18. Re-Verification
MAWSOOK may require users to undergo re-verification at any time.
Re-verification may be required for reasons including:
- Security concerns.
- Suspicious activity.
- Account recovery.
- Identity changes.
- Compliance obligations.
- Fraud investigations.
Failure to complete re-verification may result in restricted access or suspension.
19. Suspension and Termination
MAWSOOK may suspend, restrict, disable, or terminate accounts where:
- These Terms are violated.
- Fraud is suspected.
- Verification requirements are not met.
- Required information is not provided.
- Legal obligations require action.
- User activity presents risk to the Platform or its users.
MAWSOOK may take action with or without prior notice where permitted by law.
MAWSOOK reserves the right to deactivate, archive, reclaim, or remove inactive accounts after extended periods of inactivity.
20. No Ownership of Username
MAWSOOK reserves the right to reclaim, reassign, modify, remove, or refuse usernames, profile names, business names, vanity URLs, referral codes, category placements, or other account identifiers for any reason or no reason, at its sole discretion.
21. Intellectual Property
All MAWSOOK trademarks, logos, software, technology, branding, interfaces, designs, and Platform materials remain the exclusive property of MAWSOOK and its licensors.
No rights are granted except those expressly stated in these Terms.
21A. Platform Protection
Users may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decode, or otherwise attempt to derive or obtain the source code of the Platform.
- Circumvent, disable, interfere with, or compromise any security feature, verification system, access control mechanism, or technical protection implemented by MAWSOOK.
- Attempt to discover, extract, copy, replicate, or reproduce any algorithms, technologies, processes, systems, databases, or proprietary methods used by the Platform.
- Use the Platform in any manner intended to test, scan, probe, or exploit vulnerabilities within the Platform or its infrastructure.
Any unauthorized attempt to access, copy, reproduce, modify, interfere with, or exploit the Platform may result in immediate suspension or termination of access and may lead to legal action.
21B. Automated Access & Data Collection
Users may not use bots, crawlers, spiders, scrapers, automated scripts, artificial engagement tools, data mining tools, or any other automated means to access, monitor, collect, copy, extract, harvest, or interact with the Platform without MAWSOOK's prior written authorization.
Users may not:
- Artificially inflate engagement metrics.
- Generate fake followers, likes, comments, views, messages, gifts, or interactions.
- Automate account creation or account activity.
- Collect user information through automated methods.
- Interfere with the normal operation of the Platform through automated activity.
MAWSOOK reserves the right to restrict, suspend, terminate, or take legal action against any account involved in unauthorized automated activity.
22. Disclaimer
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
MAWSOOK does not guarantee:
- Continuous availability.
- Error-free operation.
- Uninterrupted access.
- Specific results.
- Specific earnings.
- Specific audience growth.
- Specific business outcomes.
Use of the Platform is at your own risk.
23. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MAWSOOK shall not be liable for:
- Indirect damages.
- Incidental damages.
- Consequential damages.
- Lost profits.
- Lost business opportunities.
- Data loss.
- Reputation loss.
- User-generated content.
- Third-party actions.
24. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MAWSOOK, its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, contractors, and partners from claims arising from:
- Your use of the Platform.
- Your content.
- Your conduct.
- Violations of these Terms.
- Violations of law.
- Violations of third-party rights.
25. Platform Changes
MAWSOOK may modify, suspend, discontinue, replace, limit, or remove any feature, functionality, monetization program, verification requirement, category, livestreaming capability, referral program, gift program, payout method, or service at any time without liability.
25A. Feedback & Suggestions
Users may voluntarily provide suggestions, recommendations, ideas, comments, feedback, feature requests, business proposals, or other submissions relating to the Platform ("Feedback").
By submitting Feedback to MAWSOOK, you acknowledge and agree that:
- MAWSOOK is under no obligation to review, implement, respond to, or compensate you for any Feedback.
- Feedback may be used by MAWSOOK for any purpose without restriction.
- MAWSOOK shall own all rights, title, and interest in any improvements, modifications, enhancements, developments, or features derived from such Feedback.
- No compensation, royalties, credits, attribution, or other consideration shall be owed to you in connection with MAWSOOK's use of any Feedback.
Feedback shall be deemed non-confidential and non-proprietary.
26. Changes to the Terms
MAWSOOK may modify these Terms at any time.
Updated versions become effective upon publication.
Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
27. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
28. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between MAWSOOK and the user regarding use of the Platform and supersede any prior agreements, understandings, representations, communications, or arrangements relating to the Platform.
